About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. This Thonet rocking chair, sourced from France, reflects the enduring heritage of bentwood craftsmanship. Its gracefully curved frame and woven cane seat and back invite moments of quiet repose.
The delicate yet sturdy structure speaks to the skilled handiwork of its makers, offering a piece of functional art for any thoughtfully arranged space. It brings warmth and a sense of collected history to a reading nook or sunlit corner.
Expect variations in the wood's patina, subtle marks from its storied past, and wear consistent with its age and use. The cane weaving may also show signs of its unique character.
