We warrant that your fountain is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for 1 year from the date of purchase. If something goes wrong during this period, we’ll make it right.

WHAT IS COVERED?

Pump issues: malfunctions or failures of the pump caused by manufacturing defects.

Structural integrity: leaks or other defects in the fountain body due to faulty sealant or workmanship.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

On-site repair visits by Olive Ateliers tradesmen for damaged or defective fountains.

Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or neglect (e.g., lack of proper cleaning and upkeep, relocation without the support of a professional, ineffective wintering, etc.).

Normal wear and tear (like fading or minor scratches).

Improper installation or failure to follow care instructions (such as running the fountain without water or not adhering to the cold-climate advisory).

Modifications or repairs not performed by authorized Olive Ateliers tradesmen. Any modifications made after purchase will void the Olive Ateliers warranty.

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

1. Contact us: email general@oliveateliers.com with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

2. Send photos and videos: pictures and video footage of the defect help us assess the problem quickly.

3. Repair or replace: if your claim is approved, we’ll repair your fountain or, at our discretion, offer a full refund credit of the conversion cost.

HELPFUL TIPS FOR KEEPING YOUR WARRANTY VALID

Keep it clean: regularly drain and replace the water, clearing any and all debris, and assessing and servicing the pump assembly to avoid blockage.

Nighttime use: turn off the fountain in the evenings or when possible to avoid overuse. Continuously running the pump could result in premature wear and tear.

Cold-climate advisory: always empty the trough and allow it to dry completely before the first freeze. Cover the trough with a breathable, waterproof tarp during winter to avoid water penetration and subsequent freezing, which could cause the trough to fracture. During installation, placing the trough on low-profile risers or pavers can prevent it from freezing due to ground contact and reduce cracking risks during freezes.

Follow instructions: always follow the guidelines in your user manual and our Troughs & Fountains Care Guide.
