Limestone Trough - Round
$845
About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. Hand-carved from solid limestone, this substantial round trough carries a storied past from Indonesia. Its organic form, worn smooth by time, offers a quiet grounding presence and tactile warmth wherever it is placed.
Originally serving as vessels for water storage, these objects held practical significance within old-world households. Today, they bring their enduring heritage to modern spaces, perfectly suited as a compelling planter or a unique basin with proper sealing.
Expect varied patina, textural variations, and signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. This object is not modernly water safe and should be used with a separate, internal water tray or properly sealed if planting directly for indoor use.
