About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. This hand-carved limestone trough, a testament to old-world craft, once served as a fundamental vessel for collecting and storing water. Its robust, simple form quietly introduces a collected, natural element into any setting, reflecting a heritage of resourceful design.
Substantial and rounded, this trough offers versatile utility. It can be transformed into a tranquil water feature, a characterful basin, or a distinctive planter. Its worn-in material and storied past impart a sense of grounded tranquility to both indoor and outdoor spaces. The subtle, rugged indentations suggest its long history and prior utility.
Expect varied patina, textural irregularities, and natural wear consistent with the object's age and past function. This piece is not inherently watertight for modern use; consider a separate internal liner or proper sealing if utilizing with water or for direct planting.
