About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. This substantial limestone trough, originating from Indonesia, carries a quiet heritage. Its soft, weathered texture and earthy tones evoke old-world gardens and sun-drenched courtyards, suggesting a rich history and stories untold. Its circular form creates a sense of tranquil simplicity.
Once a practical vessel for water storage, it now offers versatility for contemporary display. This trough provides a serene foundation for a sculptural planting, a water feature, or even as a unique base for a glass tabletop. Its presence lends a grounded, collected feel to any setting, indoors or out.
Expect varied patina, subtle surface irregularities, and signs of wear consistent with its age and original use. The natural character of the limestone includes minor chips or softened edges, speaking to its journey through time. This object is not modernly water safe and should be used with a separate, internal water tray or properly sealed if planting directly for indoor use.
