Limestone Trough - Round
$2,395
About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. Originally used as vessels for water storage, these heritage troughs transcend mere function, serving as enduring symbols of hospitality from a time past. The substantial limestone, worn smooth in places yet retaining its rugged character, speaks to a history of daily use and quiet resilience.
Today, this collected trough lends its stoicism and charisma to any space. It can be reimagined as a striking planter for botanical displays, a distinctive basin for a water feature, or a unique, low-profile sink, offering a tactile connection to old-world craft and design.
Expect varied patina, subtle discoloration, and signs of wear consistent with age and long-term use. This object is not modernly water safe and should be used with a separate, internal water tray or properly sealed if planting directly for indoor use.
