About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. This substantial limestone trough, sourced from Indonesia, speaks of quiet utility and enduring form. Originally serving as vessels for water storage, its heritage adds a layer of depth to any setting. Its rough, organic texture and earthy tones bring a grounding presence to gardens or coursed interiors.
Today, these robust troughs find new life as unique planters, custom water features, or even distinctive sinks, lending an old-world charm to contemporary spaces. The solid material and hand-finished character offer a connection to the past, infusing warmth into modern design.
Expect varied patina, subtle discoloration, and signs of wear consistent with its age and former life. This object is not suitable for direct water containment without proper sealing or the use of an internal liner.
