About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. Originally used as vessels for water storage, these substantial forms quietly communicate a heritage of utility and enduring strength. Carved from solid limestone, this trough brings old-world character and a sense of permanence to any setting. Its softly rounded contours and robust presence offer warmth and a collected feel.
Today, such pieces are often transformed. With proper sealing, this trough can serve as a captivating water fountain, a unique sink basin, or a distinctive planter. It offers charisma and stoicism, whether placed within an interior space or in an outdoor garden. Each mark tells a part of its storied journey.
Expect varied patina and signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. This object is not modernly water safe and should be used with a separate, internal water tray or properly sealed if planting directly for indoor use.
