About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. This substantial limestone trough, with its gently rounded form, was originally crafted as a vessel for collecting or storing water. Its solid presence and old-world character offer a natural sense of hospitality and heritage to any setting, indoors or out.
Historically, these pieces were essential for daily life. Today, they bring a quiet stoicism and a collected feel. Consider it as a distinctive planter, a base for a water feature, or a unique basin when properly sealed.
Expect varied patina, subtle mossing, and signs of wear consistent with its significant age. This object is not modernly watertight and requires an internal liner or proper sealing for direct planting or water use.
