About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. This hand-carved limestone trough, originating from Indonesia, carries a quiet strength and a deep, historical provenance. Its robust form and solid material suggest old-world utility, gracefully worn-in by time and the elements.
Originally serving as essential vessels for water storage, these heritage objects transcend their initial function. Today, they bring a sense of collected charm and stoicism, often repurposed as planters, sinks, or even water features in a garden setting, offering warmth and character to any indoor or outdoor space.
Expect varied patina, textural irregularities, and natural signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. This object is not modernly water safe and should be used with a separate, internal water tray or properly sealed if planting directly for indoor use.
