Limestone Trough - Rectangle
$1,945
About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. This substantial limestone trough, originating from Indonesia, carries a quiet stoicism. Once a utilitarian vessel for water, its rectangular form and weathered surface speak to a history of work and elemental exposure. It offers a tangible connection to old-world utility and the enduring nature of natural stone.
Today, such a powerful, collected object brings a sense of grounded tranquility to interior or exterior spaces. It is commonly repurposed as a striking planter, a serene water feature, or even a unique sink basin, lending its heritage character to any application.
Expect a deeply worn-in patina, with natural variations in shade, texture, and markings, all consistent with its age and former life. This object is not suitable for holding water directly without proper sealing or the use of an internal liner.
