About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. This impressive rectangular trough, carved from Indonesian limestone, speaks of ancient function and enduring material. Originally holding water, it carries the quiet weight of history, bringing an element of old-world presence to any setting. Its substantial form suggests a place of gathering or nourishment.
Today, these robust troughs find new life as serene water features, deep garden planters, or even distinctive sinks. Their inherent character and weathered texture offer a grounding visual anchor indoors or out. The raw, natural material adds a layer of depth and warmth.
Expect varied patina, textural irregularities, and natural signs of wear consistent with its age and former use. This object is suited for a separate internal tray or will require proper sealing if used for planting with direct soil and water.
