About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. These substantial limestone troughs, originally used for water storage in the villages of Indonesia, embody a quiet heritage. Their robust form and enduring material suggest a history of honest utility and thoughtful craft. They bring an old-world charm to any setting, inside or out, whether used for planting or as a sculptural accent.
Today, these collected pieces offer versatile uses. They can be sealed and converted into serene water features, provide a rustic vessel for botanicals, or serve as a unique basin. The oblong shape allows for a graceful presence in gardens or within a thoughtfully arranged interior.
Expect varied patina, textural irregularities, and signs of wear consistent with its age and former life. This object is not modernly water safe and should be used with a separate, internal water tray or properly sealed if planting directly for indoor use.
