Whether in the study, living room, or reading nook, the object adds elegance and functionality to any space. The biography of the artist who inspired this chair is shrouded in mystery. Maybe there’s a clue in the gentle slope of the high back or in the clean lines, or in the ivory fabric set inside the back posts to offset the turned oak legs.
The evolution of the chair is a thousand-year journey or so I explain to my son who is determined to revive a floor culture in our home to, as he says, better connect with the environment.
He’s six. No mystery here.
Expect subtle nuances in the newly reupholstered fabric, wood grain, coloration, texture or patina, all of which enhance its unique allure. Repairs and non-structural distressing may be present from age and use, adding character to the object.

If you are not completely satisfied, contact us with within 14 days of delivery to initiate a return or exchange. Exclusions apply.

· Returned items must be in original (“as-was”) condition. We reserve the right to decline returns showing signs of damage or misuse.
· Approved returns are issued as store credit equal to the original purchase price. Credits are valid for one year from issuance.
· Delivery fees are non-refundable, except in cases of manufacturer defects or transit damage.
If your item arrives damaged or differs materially from its online representation, regardless of exclusions, we will reimburse, replace, or otherwise resolve the issue.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Standard will deliver to your doorstep only. White Glove will deliver all eligible objects to the room of your choice with a 2-person crew and includes packaging removal.
Depending on the object, a delivery appointment and signature may be required. Our delivery partners will contact you to arrange and confirm your appointment.
We currently offer delivery in the contiguous 48 states. Delivery fees vary by zip code and order total. White Glove service to remote areas may be limited.
