Cast Round Coffee Table - Hewn Edge
$995
About This Product
The Cast Round Coffee Table is a low, solid top slab with a hewn edge, its sides left rough as though chiseled from a larger block of stone. Cast in cement, it carries the heft and the quarried look of something far older, a piece that seems to have been cut rather than made.
It becomes the center of gravity in the room. Coffee cups leave their rings, the children build against its edge, and no one moves it without a second pair of hands.
Cast in cement by domestic makers as a reproduction of an antique stone form, the hewn edge worked by hand so no two are alike. As at home indoors as on a sheltered terrace. The surface mellows and patinas with use; variations in casting, texture, and color are to be expected.
