Limestone Trough - Round
$6,645 CAD
About This Product
Object is exactly as shown. This vintage limestone trough carries the quiet weight of its past, originally serving as a vital vessel for water storage. Its robust form and tactile texture speak to a heritage of utility, transforming everyday tasks into a connection with old-world craft.
Today, these substantial troughs offer a compelling focal point, whether thoughtfully repurposed as a water feature, a unique sink, or a planter for favored greens. The natural material brings an enduring warmth and stoicism to any interior or garden space.
Expect varied patina, minor chips, and signs of wear consistent with its age and storied past. This object is not modernly water safe and should be used with a separate, internal water tray or properly sealed if planting directly for indoor use.
