About This Product

The Lekanida Planter takes both its name and its shape from the lekane, the old Greek basin, a shallow, open form, generous at the mouth and low to the ground.

Small-batch fired in Greece and colored by its place in the kiln, its tone ranges from pale sand to warm ember with no two alike. Left unsealed, the terracotta softens and patinas with age. Suited to a wide, low planting or a seasonal centerpiece.
