The Trumeau Chair is an object sourced by Olive Ateliers. Inspired by renowned Danish designer Henning Kjaernulf this piece celebrates meticulous craftsmanship in chair design.
Whether in the study, living room, or reading nook, the object adds elegance and functionality to any space. The back is a masterpiece in its detail. Add a blue gray patterned stripe fabric to seat cushion and back rest and the chair is ready for the crowd. An architectural term, Trumeau is the support between an opening in a window or a mirror. This generous back rest is just that; it is the trumeau that holds the chair together.
In autumn you wait for the rain, for the change of seasons that will shake you alive and wonder what holds you together as you move the chair from room to room.
