Fireside Basket
$427 CAD
About This Product
Expertly crafted, the handsome Fireside basket is as strong as it is stylish. The arcing wave of the double walled rattan is secured by a single loop handle. Equally at home next to the fireplace or outdoors near the firepit, the tight weave of the natural canes defines this workhorse.
Hauled in to stoke the kitchen’s wood stove, the burning of the oak braided with the sweet aroma of bread baking attracts memories. Put the kettle on, there are stories to tell.
Woven by skilled hands using only natural rattan, the patina of this piece is intended to evolve. Time, light, and weather will gently transform it, lending character that cannot be rushed or replicated.
